ABBA were a successful Swedish pop group. With songs dominating the charts in the 1970s. They started out as a cabaret act quartet originally named Festfolk. Performing in the Eurovision Song Contest. On their second attempt they became the 1974 winners. They also entered the Swedish
contest called Melodifestivalen, Which chooses Sweden’s contestants for the subsequent Eurovision contest.
The group's manager renamed them as ABBA which depicts the members first names:
• Agnetha Fältskog
• Benny Andersson
• Björn Ulvaeus
• Anni-Frid Lyngstad
Amongst numerous songs recorded by this famous Europop band Was “When I kissed The Teacher” and this is where our tribute act gets its name.
